The MK V was first seen at the 1949 Earls Court Motor Show. The styling of the MK V was an intriguing blend of old and modern, its lines being traditional and yet incorporating modern features. It is interesting to note that the MK V and XK were the first cars to be designed and manufactured solely under the Jaguar brand.
